When it's worth it

Traffic + parking vs your couch with your dog

For many cases (follow-up, second opinion, interpretation) a teleconsultation resolves it just as well without leaving home.

In-person vs video

Just as clear, without leaving home

In-person visit
2–3 hours
Travel, waiting, coming back. For many chronic cases it adds nothing more.
Teleconsultation
30 min
Just the visit. Prescription to your email. Without travelling.

* If during the teleconsultation we detect something that requires a physical exam or a procedure, I refer you right away to the appropriate service.

What it does not solve

When you do need to come in person

The teleconsultation is excellent, but not for everything. These cases require the office:

A teleconsultation does not replace an in-person visit if:

  • You have severe shortness of breath right now
  • You cough up blood (hemoptysis)
  • Recent-onset chest pain
  • High fever with no diagnosis
  • You need a spirometry or bronchoscopy
  • It's your first visit and you need a physical exam
No travel

Do you have tests or a pending renewal?

  • Book online and upload your tests
  • 30 minutes by HD video
  • Digital prescription to your email when we finish
  • A clear plan and next steps in writing

Frequently asked questions

What patients ask me most before booking.

What do I need for the teleconsultation?

A smartphone or computer with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection and your previous tests in PDF or as a photo. That's all.

Is the prescription valid at a pharmacy?

Yes. It is issued with a professional license, electronic signature and the patient's details. It is valid at any pharmacy in Mexico.

What do I do if I need a spirometry or a sleep study?

If you live in CDMX, we schedule it at the office. If you are in another state, I guide you on how to request it and where to go, and then we review the results together.

What can and can't be handled in a teleconsultation?

By video call we can review test results, adjust treatment, answer questions and follow up on conditions already diagnosed. What it can't replace is the physical exam and in-person tests (like spirometry or the home sleep study): if something in the teleconsultation needs direct evaluation, an in-person visit is scheduled.

How much does it cost?
